Trompe l’oeil, finestra aperta, and memento mori: while illusions have always been part of art, there have also always been countless reasons and attempts to free art of them. This paradox is the subject of the exhibition anti-illusions, which brings together five contemporary artistic positions under the aspect of the irrevocability of illusory phenomena. With works by: Lorenza Longhi, Rita McBride, Ivan Mitrovic, Sophie Yerly, and Guy Ben-Ner.
